Observation Task 7-Classroom management and teacher talk

Focus:Classroom Management 
Observe the teacher and complete the following table

Beginning and ending the day
Punctuality at the beginning of the lesson
Teacher come in time every day if she will be late she let us know that before to be in class with students until she come or giving the homework to the student to start doing and helping them in.
Teacher’s response to those who are late. What does she say?
She ask them about the reason of being late she avoid saying hurtful words and mostly she give them the trust and believe their reason. She respect their reason and said to them its ok but let me know before to avoid any circumstances.

If they be late longtime without any reason she said “if you will be late without any reason you will not enter the lesson”.

Sometime if they be late more than 2 minutes the student will stand up in the end of the class area for 30 minutes.

Starting the day: what does the teacher say? do?

First she greet student next they start the lesson with week words all the class say in one time in English  and meaning in Arabic. Then she start checking their homework’s and review what they was learn yesterday in other words in the last class. Finally, she start her new lesson with sorting the plan to them what they will take today in the lesson, kind of game and pages of homeworks..

Lining up : location
Most of time the teacher be with students in the classroom but  sometime in science lesson she teach them in laboratory or in the library. room or library.
Teacher instructions for lining up: what does she say? do?
She said after each lesson
“everyone hand up and pensile down”
each group go quietly by carrying their own items to arrive to the place where the teacher chosen to teach them.
Ending the day:  what does the teacher say? /do?
She ask the student what they should do because in every week she give them like a schedule with exams and homework then if any student needs a help they can stay with her and she will explain for them just in the break time.

Moving
Moving the children for an activity.
What does she say? do?

The teacher stop them if they was do anything anything then lining up and move without any noise.
Moving the children: how do they respond?
They said to each other go to your group and in your places.
Misbehaviour
What was the learner doing?
some of them start shouting , teacher if she give them many thing and some of them not do the work and play with anything around them
What did the teacher say? do?
The teacher speak with firstly before she’s sorting the appropriate  punishment through giving more tasks to do compare to other students in the class and short time to do it. Sometime the teacher speak with their parents.
How did the child respond:

Some of them said its ok my family know i’m not study you can do what you like no problem and some of them said Ms s give us last chance we will work hard in.
How does the teacher stop the children at the end of an activity? What does she say? do?
She said for them pot put your hand up your head and she said: One,two,three then they replay and said: look at me.
